  • We know that information about Covid (19) is being disseminated and changes almost hourly. Decisions are being made and actions are being taken on the local, county, state and federal levels. We understand the economic and very personal impact this has globally, but our focus is to be one more source to help OUR local businesses have access to the information and assists they need to survive this disruption.     Chamber Office Closure

    Per the Shelter in Place Order issued on March 16th, 2020, the Chamber office will be closed until April 7th, 2020. As noted above, we will keep you as informed as possible on any new developments through our website, emails and social media posts. Rely on this and other sources we will list to ask and receive the most updated answers you need regarding your business concerns. Businesses requiring Certificates of Origin during this closure period, please email to make an appointment for issuance.  Per the CDC and health agencies all Chamber activities will be adjusted through the month of April 2020. In-person gatherings will be cancelled and remote options may be offered instead.


    Next Upcoming Chamber Event, 2020 State of the City, April 23 - POSTPONED

    It is in the best interests of all our guests and event supporters to postpone The State of the City originally scheduled for April 23rd. This annual fundraiser and civic event of the Newark Chamber of Commerce is made possible by generous volunteers, sponsors, vendors and supporters such as yourselves! We have our community top of mind, and we look forward to rescheduling and picking up the celebration soon, heeding the guidance and directions from the CDC and health organizations.
