Personal Emergency Preparedness Class

FREE Personal Emergency Preparedness Class presented by the Newark Community Emergency Response Team (Newark CERT)
This class is designed to provide community members with the tools and resources they need to be better equipped to deal with minor emergencies and large scale events. In only 1-1/2 hrs. you will understand the basic steps you need to take to protect yourself and your family. Don't find yourself helpless when a few simple preparations can prevent disastrous outcomes!

• Checklists you can use to prepare for disaster.
• Utility Issues.
• Small fire extinguishing.
• Other family preparedness issues. (planning for pets, disabled family members, emergency supplies of medications, etc.)
