Newark Skate Park Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting

Be sure to join together for the long awaited opening of the Mel Nunes Sportsfield SKATEPARK! The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting is scheduled after regular work hours on Friday, Sept. 6th so that many can attend.  There will be music provided by DJ, food trucks, raffle prizes AND professional skating demos!  The first "drop in" at the new park will be by Newark Councilmember Mike Bucci; Vice Mayor Sucy Collazo will give the opening remarks and cut the ribbon! Event is presented by City of Newark Recreation and Community Services in association with Red Curbs.
