Shredding items like bank statements\, medical records\, and other personal papers keeps your information safe\, protects against identity theft\, and ensures documents are destroyed responsibly.\n\nHere's what you need to know:\n\n\n	Limit: up to two banker-sized boxes of documents per household or business.\n	Who can participate:  Newark residents (with ID/utility bill verification) and Newark businesses (with a current business license).\n	First-come\, first-served:  no appointment necessary.\n\n\nThis free service is one of the many ways Newark is working to support its community.
